I have recently discovered yet another hilarious term in English to do with job descriptions. Have you ever heard of a position called "Mister Deciding Officer" I laughed my ass off when I first saw it in an official letter but soon had to write an equally official reply - starting my letter with: "Dear Mister Deciding Officer" ... How odd!!!
