Summer English Courses for Teenagers in Dublin: 2-27 July 2012
ENGLISH CLASSES
The main focus of the classes is to encourage natural verbal communication in English. We aim to keep student motivation high by making the classes as enjoyable as possible.
Students work on projects, play games and act at the same time as learning complex grammar, expanding their vocabulary and building up their confidence in English. Unlike many other schools in Dublin, we offer courses in small groups with a guarantee of no more than 10 students and with an average of only 7. The classes run from 9:30 to 12:40 with a 10 minute break in the middle.
SOCIAL PROGRAMME
In the afternoons we provide a range of exciting activities and trips such as hiking in the mountains, team sports and swimming sessions as well as city tours, cycling trips,
workshops, games and quizzes. All activities are run and closely supervised by our team of experienced teachers and instructors. Afternoon activities finish around 5PM.
ACCOMMODATION
Students who stay with our host families can enjoy the friendly atmosphere of an Irish home and become entirely immersed in the English language for the whole duration of their stay in Ireland. As the safety and comfort of our students are our main priority we personally visit all host families before placing any students with them. In the case of an emergency or any other problems arising we operate a 24-hour phone service which all our students, their parents and host families have access to. We offer half-board accommodation in twin or single rooms. Students have breakfast and dinner in the evening with their host families whereas the school provides a mid-day meal. All the houses are serviced by the Dublin public transport system and have a direct connection to the school.

Our carefully designed syllabus quarantees that participants progress in all four areas of language: speaking, writing, reading, and listening. We know how to teach foreign languages to teenagers in an exciting way. We aim to keep students’ motivation high and never let them get bored. They work on projects, play games and act at the same time learning complex grammar, expanding their vocabulary and building up their confidence in English. Teachers who work on our summer courses not only have a many years experience of teaching English to teenagers but also a lot of enthusiasm, energy and creativity essential in working with young people. They know how to let them enjoy the classes and progress in English at the same time.
