FCE (First Certificate in English) is an exam for people who are able to use everyday written and spoken English at an upper-intermediate level. It is one of of the most popular exams in English as a foreign language. The certificate is widely recognised around the world for both business and study purposes.
The FCE exam can be taken only three times a year: in March, June and December. The exam takes place in authorised exam centres approved by the Unversity of Cambridge. The exam consists of the following parts:
a) Use of English - written part
b) Reading - written part
c) Listening - written part
d) Writing - written part
e) Speaking - oral part
